Assistant Management Accountant Role!

The Role: As an Assistant Management Accountant, you'll receive exceptional support and training from the Senior Management Accountant and wider finance team, gaining invaluable exposure to Management Accounts duties. Responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts, journal postings (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, etc.).


• Managing daily cash postings, bank reconciliations, and weekly cash reports.


• Monitoring rebate accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments.


• Reviewing financial performance against budgets and analysing variances.


• Collaborating with depot managers to gather KPI data and drive operational improvements.


• Supporting year-end preparation and liaising with external auditors.


• Nominal coding of invoices and analysing sales data.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:

• Be AAT qualified (desirable) with 2+ years' experience in finance/accounting roles.


• Demonstrate a logical, methodical approach and confident time management skills.
