Are you a talented Project Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? My client; a firm of technical specialists, providing expert Civil and Structural Engineering services across a diverse range of sectors. Due to our expanding client base and increasing workload, we are seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Leeds office
The Role:
As a Project Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a variety of structural engineering projects, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for project delivery, coordinating with graduates and technicians, and ensuring the successful completion of work to the highest standard
Key Responsibilities:
* Work within a team of engineers and technicians on civil and structural engineering projects
* Oversee and coordinate the structural, drainage, and highways aspects of projects
* Conduct structural analysis and design using industry-standard software
* Assist in managing CAD/Revit technicians to ensure high-quality production information
* Attend site visits, design meetings, and project progress discussions
* Prepare reports, technical documentation, and correspondence
* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
* A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
* A minimum of 4 years relevant post-graduate experience
* Working towards Chartered or Incorporated status
* Proficiency in structural design software (experience with TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame, and MasterSeries Retaining Wall is desirable)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* A valid UK driving licence
