Graduate Airline Revenue Analyst - #1677765

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays

Date: 9 hours ago
City: Leeds
Contract type: Contractor
Work schedule: Full day
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays
As our new Airline Revenue Analyst, you’ll own a portfolio of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays flights and have the independence to make appropriate changes to our airline fares using your background soft skills and commercial mindset. Airline seats are a perishable product (we can't sell seats once a flight has departed!) so the ultimate goal is to ensure we sell as many of our seats as possible, at the optimum price for the business, whilst aiming for our seat sales and yield targets, therefore maximising both our load factor and profitability. Essentially, you’ll help us to sell the right seat, at the right price, at the right time!

Please be aware that this role will be offered as a 15 month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave.

As our Airline Revenue Analyst, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

  • Hybrid working (we’re in the office 2 days per week)
  • 26 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
  • Colleague discounts

What You'll Be Doing

  • You’ll utilise our suite of reports, which are displayed in data analysis tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel, to assess current sales, identify trends, forecast future demand and measure performance against our targets.
  • You’ll make appropriate pricing changes to flights in our bespoke Revenue Management System based on this analysis.
  • You’ll work together with our Holidays Revenue analysts to manage sales through our brands and pricing channels ensuring the business reaches its overall goals.
  • You’ll prepare our pricing for new flying seasons in readiness for On Sale launch dates, taking into account year-on-year changes.
  • You’ll provide pricing to our Group sales department ensuring the best available fares are provided for large bookings.
  • You’ll monitor our competitors and ensure our fares are fully optimised within the marketplace.

What You'll Have

  • You’ll have the ability to make reasoned and informed pricing choices, after studying data from different sources.
  • You’ll ideally have experience in Revenue Management, although this is not essential.
  • Having a keen interest in the aviation/travel industry or an awareness of Jet2’s operations and our key European leisure travel markets would be highly advantageous.

Join us as we redefine travel experiences and create memories for millions of passengers. At Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, your potential has no limits. Apply today and let your career take flight!
