Location: Home-based (UK) with travel to Head Office in Newbury as required
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 + Annual Bonus (~£10,000 based on performance)

We are seeking a forward-thinking and strategic Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive sales growth, expand market share, and lead a high-performing sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader passionate about technical products and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the sales team to achieve outstanding results.
- Research, identify, and evaluate new and existing business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans.
- Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to refine sales strategies.
- Plan and budget for sustainable growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and major customers.
- Support Area Sales Managers (ASMs) in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Deliver monthly KPI, sales, and business development reports.
- Foster a culture of success, collaboration, and communication across the business.
- Drive customer service excellence and satisfaction.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience within the self-adhesive materials industry or related technical sectors such as chemistry, manufacturing, or label printing
- A hunter’s mindset with a passion for opening new business opportunities
- Strong affinity for technical products, even without a formal chemistry background
- Exceptional networking and communication skills in a B2B environment
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated success in managing people and achieving sales growth targets
- Energy, loyalty, passion, and a strategic mindset for business development
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar sales leadership role
- Proven track record of driving substantial business growth
- Strong planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making skills
