About the Role:


We are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Data Apprenticeship Coach to support and mentor apprentices up to Level 5 throughout their learning journey. The role involves delivering high-quality coaching, assessment, and support to learners, helping them develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for operational management success.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide coaching and mentoring to up to Level 5 Data apprentices, ensuring progression and achievement of qualifications.

  • Plan and deliver engaging learning sessions, workshops, and one-to-one coaching tailored to individual learner needs.

  • Assess learners' work against apprenticeship standards, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

  • Guide apprentices in gathering evidence for their portfolio, preparing them for End-Point Assessment (EPA).

  • Monitor apprentice progress through regular reviews, tracking performance against learning goals and targets.

  • Work collaboratively with employers and key stakeholders to ensure a seamless apprenticeship experience.

  • Support apprentices with personal development, leadership skills, and management competencies aligned with industry best practices.

  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Stay up to date with apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and sector developments to ensure best practices in delivery.


ESSENTIALS



  • Relevant experience in Data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role

  • Teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, CAVA, PTLLS, or equivalent).

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and assessing management apprentices.

  • Strong knowledge of all Data Apprenticeship Standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills to manage a caseload of apprentices effectively.

  • Proficiency in using e-portfolio systems and virtual learning platforms.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with learners and employers to ensure positive outcomes.
