Senior Claims Handler - #1684354

We are representing a market leading specialist insurer in their search for a Senior Claims Handler. You will be joining their established Claims Team based in Leeds. This role is perfect for an ambitious Lawyer or Claims Handler looking to apply their litigation background in a different environment with clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating the merits of cases within Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability, Public Liability, and Construction


• Working closely with Brokers and ensuring claims are not escalated


• Liaising with clients / policy holders throughout the claim


• Assisting panel law firms where cases are escalated

Qualifications:

• A Qualified Lawyer (contentious / litigation background) or an experienced Claims Handler


• Worked on Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability, Public Liability and Construction matters


• Client facing experience & people person
