This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You'll provide support to the designer, through completion of tasks that complement the final design for the construction stage and success of the completion stage.
We'll need you to understand network maps and plans, in order to understand assets in relation to public and private ownership and ensure compliance with all CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental issues.
You'll demonstrate an understanding of other utilities and environmental factors that affect the selection and installation of water network assets and liaise internally with departments, client and third parties to ensure tasks are completed
using the most cost effective method and in a timely manner.
You may hold responsibility for tasks and/or small projects with flexibility to move between workstreams and we may require you to hold specific responsibilities or expertise in investigation processes, computer aided design (CAD), specific methods of construction, safe systems of work and other technical areas, making this role a key contributor to the design process.
What You’ll Bring
- Do you hold a A level or BTEC National?
- Have you got proven experience of using MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and also conversant with
- AutoCAD 2D / GIS software?
- Do you have prior experience and understanding in the water hydraulic network systems? Are you able to demonstrate an initiative to work on their own and as part of a team?
