Specification Sales Manager
Job Title: Specification Sales Manager
Area to be covered: North East & Yorkshire
Remuneration: £45,000 - £57,500 (Dep. On Experience) + Bonus £20k - £25k

ROLE:
- Responsible for sales of a high quality range of unique Commercial flooring products
- Develop excellent relationships within the local A&D Communities
- Secure 100% Commercial projects such as: Hotels, Restaurants, Office Space, Retail, Education, Healthcare and any commercial non-residential projects
- Taking over a successful territory currently turning over approx. £900k turnover per annum
- 100% focus on developing A&D relationships in the region both existing and new.
- Work closely with the Contractor sales team to ensure maximum Specification delivery
- Selling on the bases of a high end product sale rather than sales based on price
- Predominantly developing Main cities in Yorkshire and North East with established Interior Design practices
PERSON:
- Must have a demonstrable track record in A&D Specification sales of interior products
- Ideally a client base of A&D design practices within the region
- Experienced in securing Commercial projects such as: Hospitality, Retail, Workplace, Healthcare and education
- Must have a proven track record of selling interior products such as flooring, carpet, wall coverings, fabric, ceilings, partitioning, furniture or related products sold to Developers
- Strategic / Consultative approach to sales and comfortable selling a high value product
- Tactile sales background rather that technical, sold something aesthetically pleasing, ideally flooring related
- Team player, Energetic, passionate, enthusiastic and strong communicator
- Strong commercial and presentation skills
Industry Sector: A&D, Architects and Interior Designers, Specifiers, Flooring Contractors, Fit-Out Contractors, Education, Building Surveyors, Letting Agents, Estate Management and Local Authorities
