Sales Associate – Medical Devices (Leeds, UK)

An excellent opportunity to launch your career in healthcare sales with a global medical technology leader

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected medical device company with a strong presence in surgical and endoscopic technologies. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to break into medical sales and gain hands-on experience in a highly regarded, clinical field. The role is based in Leeds and forms part of a wider, high-performing UK sales team.

Although titled as a Sales Associate, this position offers far more than an entry-level experience. You’ll be working directly alongside experienced Territory Managers and Product Specialists, supporting clinical teams in hospitals and contributing to the sales process from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in delivering account plans across NHS and private hospitals

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and hospital procurement teams

  • Attend operating theatres and clinical settings to assist with product setup, demonstrations, and in-theatre support

This is a field-based role with regular travel across the region. You will be given full product training and continuous development support to help you progress toward a full sales territory role.

Candidate Profile:

We’re looking for someone commercially minded, confident, and eager to develop within a technical and clinical sales environment. You may have a background in life sciences, healthcare, sport science or a related field, but above all, you should be highly motivated and professional in your approach.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both clinical and commercial stakeholders

  • Be comfortable working in hospital environments

  • Be organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Show initiative, resilience, and a strong desire to grow professionally

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence and be open to regular travel across the region

What’s on Offer:

  • Full training programme and ongoing mentoring

  • Competitive base salary with performance-related commission

  • Opportunity to work with leading surgical technologies that have real clinical impact

  • Clear path for progression into a full sales territory role

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to begin a long-term career in medical sales. If you’re looking to join a business where you can make a real difference and grow your commercial career in a professional and supportive environment.
