Contracted Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: A competitive salary of up to £27,500 depending on experience, will be offered.
This is a full time, permanent position based in the Marketing Department at Head Office (Team Valley, Gateshead).

What is the role?
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in delivering the marketing activity for Kwik Tan, a leading provider of UV tanning with over 40 salons across the UK.
This includes:
- Creating monthly activities and events such as block booking events and lotion sales with an aim to enhance business performance.
- Activating promotions alongside salon refurbishments and new salon launches.
- Promoting Kwik Tan's core product in the form of premium sunbeds.
- Assisting the Marketing Manager in delivering national strategy campaigns.
- Promoting (of all the above) will involve activating 10+channels (including print, digital animations, website, social and in-store audio) concurrently to reach both new and existing audiences.
- The overarching aim being, to maintain our market leading position and being the brand of choice in the UV tanning market.
- Support the Marketing Director or Marketing Operations Manager with any short-term goals or ad-hoc project work that may be required. Overall, support the department in achieving company objectives.
In addition to this you will deliver internal communications (the company newsletter, the company intranet and employee initiative events), as well as marketing for our catering outlets ‘The Coffee Trader'.

Previous Marketing Coordinators have been promoted internally up to senior roles in the marketing team, so this is a role with progression in mind. Your attitude, application and a desire to learn are more important than experience at this point in time - so it ideally suits those wishing to embark on a marketing career.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to problem solve.
- Diligent and thorough with an eye for attention to detail.
- Excellent proof reading and copy writing abilities.
- An outstanding work ethic and an appetite to build good working relationships both within and outside of the department.
- Possess a professional telephone manner and have good IT skills (particularly MS Office).
- Experience of delivery and activating email campaigns, organic and paid social media, and print campaigns would be advantageous.
- Minimum on 1 year experience in B2C marketing, agency or in-house
- A degree in Marketing or Business Management is desired.
