Job OverviewWe are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience. Your expertise in social media management and public relations will be essential in promoting our brand and fostering a positive community around our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and written posts that resonate with our target audience.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and customer inquiries, responding promptly to foster community engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and objectives.
- Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and public relations.
- Assist in managing public relations efforts by crafting press releases and coordinating with media outlets as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably within a similar role or industry.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in public relations is highly desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics software is an advantage.

Pay: £25,282.00-£27,707.00 per year
Expected hours: 14 per week
