Freelance Construction Planner (Main contractor) – 7-month contract – Leeds



We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Planner to support the onsite team. This is fantastic opportunity to join a busy main contractor working on a high rise resi scheme in Leeds



Role details:



• Position: Freelance Quantity Surveyor



• Duration: Till Project is completed (circa 7 months)



• Location: Leeds



• Start Date: ASAP



• Sector: Main Contractor



• Rates: Negotiable



Requirements:



• Proven experience as a planner for a main contractor



• Proficient use of Asta



• Ability to pick up on the existing program



• Understanding of planning best practice



Responsibilities:



• To deliver detailed construction plans



• Working with the delivery, project management and commercial teams to produce, review and revise detailed construction plans



• Submit fortnightly programme updates into the client in line with NEC contractual clauses



• Work closely with the relevant quantity surveyor to ensure they are aligned with the programme for commercial forecasting



• Update daily the latest progress into the Microsoft Project schedule coordinating with subcontractors



• Analise project plans post construction to identify improvements for future projects
