Now, they're looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join their Leeds office and help mentor the next generation of claims talent.


Role Overview


You'll be a key player within a lively, high-performing team, managing a varied caseload of commercial claims across multiple sectors and advising clients throughout the claims process. You'll also take an active role in supporting and mentoring junior members, helping to build a strong and knowledgeable department.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a broad caseload of commercial insurance claims from first notification to settlement

  • Advise clients throughout the claims process, delivering exceptional service and clear communication

  • Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and third parties to ensure timely and favourable outcomes

  • Support the development of junior team members through mentoring and guidance

  • Maintain accurate and compliant claims records

  • Collaborate with the wider broking and account management teams to provide holistic client support


About You



  • 3+ years' experience handling a wide range of commercial claims

  • Cross-class experience (e.g., property, liability, motor, financial lines)

  • Cert CII qualified or working towards it (support available)

  • A strong communicator with excellent client service skills

  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable mentoring junior colleagues

  • Experience using Acturis preferred
