We are looking for a meticulous and forward-thinking Compliance Assurance Officer to join our team and ensure our operations meet regulatory requirements and internal policies. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting compliance reviews, identifying risks, and implementing best practices to enhance our compliance framework. If you have a good understanding of regulatory standards, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply and contribute to maintaining our organization's integrity and compliance excellence.


What you will be doing



  1. Assisting in the execution of the testing required as part of the annual assurance programme

  2. Enhancing standards and risk management best practices around risk assurance and controls testing

  3. Documenting findings/recommendations, agreeing responses with the area under review, and presenting the findings/recommendations as part of the assurance report. Collaborating on relevant risk assessments with risk colleagues to drive a best-in-class risk management program

  4. Recording all recommendations and actions resulting from reviews undertaken and actively pursuing these until resolution

  5. Identifying trends and root causes in all breaches and shortcomings; taking action and working collaboratively with line management to make relevant changes to policies, procedures, and working practices

  6. Reviewing and critically appraising evidence presented in support of proposed action closure

  7. Presenting directly to senior management on the results of the above efforts

  8. Providing ad-hoc support to the wider team as required

  • A good understanding of risk, governance, and control frameworks with experience in risk assurance and testing and associated control remediation

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build great working relationships with stakeholders, as well as always keep an eye on the customer

  • Understanding of regulatory and operational risk management, internal controls, and root cause analysis. You’ll be highly organised and structured in your working

  • Previous work experience in risk management - gaming experience is preferable
