Job Description

Are you experienced in complex, technically challenging projects? Do you want to join our UK Healthcare Division as a technical leader in Public Health engineering? If you enjoy developing sustainable solutions and working on diverse projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity.


You will lead Public Health advisory and design services on healthcare projects, overseeing sustainable, zero carbon, high-quality solutions. Candidates should have experience with Hospital/Healthcare projects, Public Health building services, and qualifications supporting MCIBSE, MIHEEM, or MSoPHE membership. Digital design proficiency with Revit/BIM 360 is essential.


Your new role

As a Public Health Associate, you'll be part of our expanding UK team, working on projects nationwide and internationally. We offer flexible working options, with projects including Hillerod Hospital Denmark, Cambridge Children’s Hospital, and others.


Key responsibilities include:


  1. Leading and managing a team of Public Health Engineers and technicians.

  2. Enhancing Ramboll's reputation in healthcare engineering.

  3. Developing and overseeing Public Health design concepts.

  4. Conducting detailed designs and calculations using industry software.

  5. Motivating and inspiring project teams.

  6. Engaging with clients and stakeholders.

  7. Supporting business development strategies.

  8. Implementing best practices for sustainable and innovative services.

  9. Managing projects as a Public Health or MEP engineer.


About you

We seek candidates with UK Public Health design experience, proven leadership, relevant engineering qualifications, and memberships. Digital design skills and project management expertise are also required. A client-centric approach and excellent communication skills are essential.
