PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Digital Content & Product Marketing Specialist for Ecommerce and Marketplaces, based in the Greater Leeds area on a full-time permanent basis reporting to the Head of Ecommerce. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create persuasive product titles, descriptions, and bullet points to boost conversions on Amazon’s B2C and B2B platforms.
- Collaborate with ecommerce, marketing, and design teams to turn complex data into polished, brand-aligned content.
- Use AI tools, platforms like Akeno, and analytics software to optimize product listings and enhance performance.
- Apply SEO techniques (keywords, tags) to keep content competitive and adapt to market trends.
- Run A/B tests, analyse performance metrics, and refine content for maximum impact.
- Lead content for product launches and campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years in ecommerce content creation or product marketing, preferably with exposure to both B2C and B2B, and a commitment to growing with us long-term.
- Hands-on experience with product platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller Central) and tools like Akeno, Adobe Suite, Helium 10, or similar.
- Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with a knack for brand storytelling.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice-to-have: Fluency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian.
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Media Communications, Journalism, or a related field—or equivalent real-world expertise.
