Job Title: Management Reporting Accountant

Overview
Our client, a leading global organisation in the financial services sector, is looking for a highly motivated Management Reporting Accountant to join their team in Leeds. This role is well suited to a part-qualified accountant or a professional with equivalent experience, particularly those with a background in finance reporting within insurance, financial services, or consultancy.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial performance reporting, conducting data analysis, and supporting the implementation of new reporting tools. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering monthly and quarterly management results and performance analysis
- Produce performance exhibits and financial summaries for stakeholders
- Perform in-depth analysis on key performance metrics to support reforecasts
- Analyse and test data for reporting accuracy and escalate issues as needed
- Support implementation and testing of financial reporting tools and platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address ad-hoc data requests and special projects
- Participate in continuous improvement of finance processes and procedures
- Provide effective support to the wider team and contribute to performance reporting
About You
- Actively working towards an accountancy qualification or qualified by experience
- Background in insurance or regulated environments preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to review, improve, and implement finance processes
- Proficient in Excel and confident working with large data sets
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
