Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you will perform service activities at our industrial customer sites. After comprehensive training on electrical frequency converters, you will work independently to service installations. Your tasks include executing service activities according to work instructions, ABB’s standards, quality, and safety guidelines. You will plan and execute daily tasks with a ‘first time right’ mentality, always prioritizing customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be demonstrated through quick, careful actions within your area of responsibility, understanding the urgency of each task.


Qualifications

  • Experience with commissioning frequency converters

  • Implementation of digital services (remote connection, condition monitoring, etc.)

  • Performing planned and preventive maintenance

  • Troubleshooting frequency converters and peripherals

  • Providing technical support to customers

  • Leading on-site activities and managing colleagues and subcontractors

  • Ensuring accurate reporting and administration

  • Identifying commercial opportunities and supporting inside sales with technical expertise
