Network Engineer - #1701557

Asda Technology is seeking a Network Engineer, with a proven track record in delivering network projects in an enterprise environment. You will work closely with project teams to develop detailed low-level designs and implementation plans. This role requires experience in network configuration and troubleshooting, with a focus on routing, switching, firewalls, and technologies like VRF, BGP, SD-WAN, and Data Centre solutions.

A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills are essential, as you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity across the network infrastructure.

• Translate design requirements into detailed low-level network designs, and change implementation plans.


• Implement network changes and enhancements across a large-scale enterprise environment.


• Maintain a strong understanding of routing, switching, and firewall technologies, including VRF, BGP, SD-WAN, and NGFW (with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer experience being desirable).


• Work with a variety of network vendors, including Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Juniper, Aruba, and Extreme Networks.


• Leverage network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) where applicable.


• Create and maintain high-quality network documentation and diagrams.


• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery and adherence to deadlines.

• Solid knowledge of complex routing and switching environments .


• Hands-on experience with interior and exterior routing protocols.


• Practical experience working within data centre environments.


• Familiarity with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.


• Proven experience in managing multiple projects in a large enterprise setting.


• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable network designs.


• Expertise in creating high-quality network documentation and diagrams.


• Eagerness to learn new skills and stay updated with evolving technologies.

• Experience with cloud platforms and load balancing solutions.


• CCNA/JNCIA-Junos or equivalent certifications.


• Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
