Harewood House Trust is looking for a dynamic Supervisor to join our Food and Beverage (F+B) Team. You'll be a real people person with an eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

As Food + Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of our catering areas. This a varied operational role; you could be supervising the team in one of the catering areas or supporting the delivery of conferencing and fine dining events.

Some supervisory experience in a restaurant/cafe/event/afternoon tea service is required

Responsibilities:

• Supervising shifts


• Mise-en-place for the upcoming service/day ahead/ events


• Providing support to the F+B Team Members


• Cash handling duties


• To be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries and feedback


• Support the F+B Manager with recruitment, induction, training and organisation of staff


• Contact bookings to confirm details


• Compiling order sheets and stock counts

+ Responsible to: Food + Beverage Manager (F+B Manager)

+ Contract: Permanent

+ Hours: 24 hours per week, working Saturdays and Sundays and one weekday

+ Rate of pay:£12.75 per hour

+ Great work-life balance with mostly daytime shifts (except for occasional private dining)

+ Fantastic holiday package of 25 days + bank holidays, rising by a day after each year of service in your first 3 years (pro-rata for part-time employees)
