As a Senior Staff Nurse at our hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC) and possess the relevant qualifications and experience. This includes post-registration experience, knowledge of mentoring, and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Qualifications in teaching, assessment, and management are desirable.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:
- Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
- Recognize talent and mentor junior colleagues to help them excel
- Utilize your clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet patient needs
- Make autonomous decisions to ensure excellent patient care
- Supervise junior nursing staff and students on a day-to-day basis
- Contribute to scheduling, recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and training
