What you will be doing...
Our Email Designer & Developer will design, build and send responsive, dynamic emails. You’ll use your skills to develop emails that are relevant and engaging, as well as having the opportunity to exercise your creative and design skills within our best-in-class automated CRM programmes. With a strong emphasis on personalisation and dynamic content, you will play a key part in the continued development of our lifecycle communications.
The successful candidate will have strong HTML skills and experience of building dynamic emails, alongside the ability to design emails that are on brand and maximise performance. From an agreed strategy, you’ll contribute creative ideas, and use a mix of code and drag and drop-functionality to build emails whilst adopting industry leading techniques as well as following best practice guidelines. You’ll have experience with Adobe Creative Suite and be eager to learn and develop new skills.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and build emails - contributing creative ideas towards our lifecycle communications to increase engagement, revenue and CRM objectives.
- Deliver projects to the agreed timescales, ensuring the highest quality of communications.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate and meet business requirements.
- Schedule the sends of CRM communications, ensuring the right message is delivered to the right audience.
- Be part of a team producing an industry-leading automated CRM programme with plenty of opportunities to contribute and develop.
- Follow industry best practice guidelines, keep on top of the latest trends and make sure all templates and designs are responsive and maximised for mobile platforms.
- Test communications to check all designs are to a high-standard, on brand and consistent.
- Assist with push notifications and SMS development when required.
What you’ll have:
- Digital design experience with strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Creative mindset with the ability to work within brand guidelines.
- Strong understanding of email development and email marketing.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to problem solve.
- Desire to create best-in-class communications.
- Good time-management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Experience with our preferred platforms, Movable Ink, Adobe Journey Optimiser and Dotdigital.
- Experience of delivering digital artwork from brief to concept to completion.
- Experience of developing and delivering push notifications and in-app messages.
Please note that this role will be offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
