Warehouse Supervisor – Temp to Perm

Location: Leeds

Pay: £14.25 per hour + Overtime

Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch)

FLT Licence And Driving Licence Are Essential

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations within a small, friendly team of three. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects and excellent conditions.

The Role

• Supervising the warehouse operations for the company
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Checking off deliveries for accuracy
• Effective stock control and inventory management
• Managing the efficient use of storage space
• Communicating with office-based colleagues to coordinate logistics
• Working to tight deadlines and lead times
• Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety are maintained
• Operating machinery and FLT within the warehouse
• Manual handling
• General warehouse and ad-hoc duties as needed
  
  

The Candidate

• Reliable and punctual
• Keeps a tidy and organised work environment
• Efficient and accurate in task execution
• Able to multitask, prioritise, and work independently
• Previous warehouse experience with stock control
• Positive attitude with a flexible, “can-do” approach
• Experience in a warehouse setting preferred
• Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and UK driving licence
  
  

The Package

• Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
• Overtime:
• Paid at 1.16x after 39 hours per week
• Paid at 1.3x on weekends
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (flexibility required for early starts or late finishes when container deliveries arrive, sometimes from 6am or into the evening)
