Product Technologist - #1704647

A leading consumer goods business that works across both food and non-food is looking to appoint a product technologist to manage key quality assurance for key product areas.

THE COMPANY

Their products are sold across the UK and Europe. The technical team is growing and they have created a new role for a QA Technologist / Product Technologist.

THE ROLE

• Conduct product risk assessments, technical benchmarking, and user trials to ensure products meet guidelines


• Approve samples, packaging artwork, copy, instruction manuals and relevant documentation, meeting agreed timescales to deliver products for sale.


• Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation


• Organise in line and pre shipment inspections


• Coordinate with testing houses and suppliers ensure your products are meeting standards complying with legislation in the UK and other countries


• Analyse returns and agree corrective action plans / improvements


• Provide technical advice and support to buying and customer service teams

ABOUT YOU

You will have demonstrable experience of working in a Quality role. The role can be flexed depending on experience so you may already be working as an established QA Technologist / Product Technologist or could even be working as a Junior / Trainee / Assistant QA Technologist. As their product range is wide, any category experience within food, fmcg, DIY, toys, paints, cosmetics, would be great.
