As a Conflicts Analyst within the Onboarding team, you'll work alongside talented professionals across our offices in Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dubai to safeguarding the firm's reputation and operations. What You'll Do:
• Process and filter conflict search results, conducting legal and commercial analysis to identify key issues for partners and fee earners.
• Analyse confidential records and support the Conflicts Advisory Team on referrals to the Conflicts Committee/Partner.
• Liaise with PAs, fee earners, partners, and OGC to address potential conflicts and general queries.
• Manage the team inbox, handling tasks such as creating information barriers, processing reports, and responding to compliance queries.
• Compile Management Information (MI) statistics for stakeholders.
• Participate in project work, including workflow improvements and monitoring systems.
• Continuously learn and contribute to the team's success in a stimulating and supportive environment.
Who We're Looking For:
• Someone with experience in risk and compliance within law, accountancy, or financial services (preferred but not essential).
• A detail-oriented individual with the ability to critically analyse complex information and make sound decisions.
• A proactive professional who thrives under pressure, prioritising and managing conflicting deadlines.
• A strong communicator who can build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
• Someone with a basic understanding of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Regulations 2019, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, and the SRA Code of Conduct 2019.
