Sewell Wallis is working with an innovative Scientific/ Sustainable business in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who is looking to recruit an experienced part-time Head of Finance (3 days per week).
This is an exciting time to join as they expand their markets, and working closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team, the Head of Finance will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy and overseeing all the day to day financial operations.
What will you be doing?
- Taking full ownership of the financial processes and controls
- Preparing all budgets and forecasts
- Preparing monthly management accounts and month-end processes
- Leading treasury strategy and cash flow management
- Preparing and presenting forecasts, reports and analysis to the board, stakeholders and key investors
- Supporting the CEO in strategic decision making including the analysis of growth, cost benefit analysis of potential product launches, and other key business initiatives.
- Implementing KPI's
- Leading the financial evaluation of commercial deal structures
- Financial reporting and analysis and presenting to the board
- Working closely with external accountants
- Improving processes and procedures
What skills are we looking for?
- Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Experience of working with key stakeholders across non finance functions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
