We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Leeds, a category B prison located in Gloucester Terrace in the Armley area of Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Hours
37.5 hours per week over 5 days; consideration for 4 days. Working hours are 8-4pm over 5 days or 7-5pm over 4 days. No weekends or nights, with possible ad-hoc shadowing support outside routine duties.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £55,996 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Requirements
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Employment offers are subject to vetting and security checks due to the role's nature.
Main Duties
- Provide clinical leadership and management to nursing and care teams.
- Deputise for the Deputy/Head of Healthcare as required.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure a high-quality clinical service. Practice autonomously within your role.
- Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
- Coach, manage, and develop clinical staff; support audits and governance; review clinical and non-clinical protocols.
- Chair healthcare meetings, provide clinical supervision, and conduct investigations locally and regionally.

Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse Adult (NMC registered)
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working complexities
- Non-judgmental, compassionate approach
- Line management experience and mentorship (student nurse mentorship preferred)
Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
