37.5 hours per week (hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business, therefore it is expected that the successful applicant will work those hours necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the role).
The Role
Overview
Responsible for managing and maintaining Equity Release customer accounts post completion, ensuring all customer queries are actioned within agreed service levels. To manage any cases that are in breach of Mortgage Terms & Conditions and ultimately bring the account back within agreed Terms. Be on hand to answer customer, third party and stakeholder queries post-completion.
Key Outputs
- Deal with inbound and outbound customer account post-completion calls.
- Assess and manage Power of Attorney documents
- Identify and manage customer accounts that are in breach of Mortgage Terms & Conditions
- Maintaining internal reports that log all accounts which are in breach of Mortgage Terms & Conditions
- Responsible for updating customer accounts when notified of final death or applicants moving into long term care
- Processing death certificates
- Running mortality screening and updating accounts accordingly.
- Deal with incoming post
- Producing and sending redemptions statements to customers/third parties
- Producing redemption statements for accounts that are in breach of Mortgage Terms & Conditions
- Sending out letters to customer/third party for accounts that are in in breach of Mortgage Terms & Conditions
- Liaise with valuers, solicitors, and intermediaries as appropriate.
- Ensure that all business written complies with the Company's and funder's lending criteria.
- Full case ownership including post-completion maintenance of accounts.
- To ensure that all client files are always complete and up to date.
- Adhere to all anti-money laundering, data protection and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all applications comply with Equity Release Council Guidelines.
- Report any concerns over underwriting issues to Team Manager.
- Contribute to the development of Company's TCF policy and T&C regime.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

Mandatory
- Grade C or higher in Maths & English GCSE or equivalent
