Elevation Recruitment Group - Marketing Division are excited to be working with a fantastic training provider.


The Head of Product provides overall leadership and direction for the full product portfolio, including both the UK compliance catalogue and all associated technology platforms. This role ensures that our products are aligned with market needs, commercially successful, pedagogically sound, and positioned to deliver an exceptional learner experience.


Day to day duties:



  • Ensuring operational and proactive activity aligns with the agreed product strategy, aligned to business objectives.

  • Overseeing the product roadmap for content and contributing to the direction of the technology roadmap in line with the organisation’s strategy.

  • Ensuring a market-leading, compliant, and accessible learning catalogue.

  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across the UK.

  • Driving innovation and continual improvement in the delivery of our products and platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Strategy & Leadership



  • Own product deployment for all products, including the UK compliance catalogue, learning technology, and future innovation.

  • Be responsible for the alignment product roadmaps across catalogue and technology to ensure coherence, commercial value, and competitive differentiation.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders across content, technology, marketing, sales, and customer support to deliver against strategic goals.

  • Act as the voice of the customer and learner, ensuring all products are inclusive, accessible, and user focused.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial impact.


Catalogue & Content Oversight



  • Maintain operational oversight of the UK compliance content catalogue, ensuring the team are empowered to keep the catalogue current, competitive, and aligned with legislative frameworks and customer needs.

  • Oversee content development, lifecycle management, curation from third-party providers, and continuous improvement based on learner feedback and market insights.

  • Maintain relationships with key external partners including content publishers, subject matter experts, quality organisations, and aggregators.

  • Define and uphold standards for learning design, accessibility, and user experience.


Technology Product Oversight



  • Working closely with the technology teams and leader to ensure the evolution of technology solutions align with product plans.

  • Ensure learning technologies are scalable, user-friendly, and interoperable across various platforms and systems.

  • Support product innovation, including the exploration and integration of new technologies.

  • Ensure the seamless integration of catalogue content within platforms and across customer environments.


Team Leadership & Governance



  • Lead, support and develop the Catalogue Project Manager and managers across the UK portfolio.

  • Create a high-performing, collaborative product team culture, focused on outcomes and customer value.

  • Set priorities, manage budgets, and ensure effective resource allocation to deliver on product roadmaps.


Market Insight & Commercial Focus



  • Maintain a deep understanding of the UK e-learning landscape, competitor offerings, customer requirements, and regulatory developments.

  • Ensure that all products meet commercial goals, support strategic growth, and align with market opportunities.

  • Partner with commercial and marketing teams to ensure product positioning, USPs and value propositions are clearly defined and communicated.

  • Use data and insight to support pricing strategies, product bundling, and new offer development.


Operational Excellence



  • Ensure product and catalogue information is accurately maintained in the appropriate content management systems.

  • Support operational teams with robust content deployment, version control, change management and asset governance.

  • Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Support teams to maintain high standards of service quality and responsiveness to customer feedback.

  • Ensure technology and content products are interoperable, accessible, and support a seamless learner experience.


Experience required:



  • Experienced in product leadership, ideally digital learning.

  • Commercially aware with a track record of spotting opportunities and driving growth through product management.

  • Confident using data, CRM and product tools to inform decisions.

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels.

  • Commercial and customer-focused with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Skilled in relationship-building and negotiation.

  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Results-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Aligned with values and committed to equity, diversity and inclusion.
