With two positions available, based in the Leeds/York area, these roles form a crucial part of a dedicated Team within an expanding renewable energy business. Position DetailsJob Title: Heat Pump Service Engineer (2 positions)Reports to: Regional Technical ManagerLocation: Leeds/YorkCompetitive Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)Benefits included:Successful applicants will receive the following benefits:Pension scheme25 days of annual leave + Bank HolidaysOut-of-hours pay rates

Uniform and mobile phone provided42.5-hour workweek (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm)Participation in the out-of-hours call-out rota for extra earning opportunities
Responsibilities:As part of a skilled team, the Heat Pump Service Engineer will:Carry out fault diagnostics and repairs for first-time fixes.Attend client sites to perform precise fault-finding and service tasks.Provide technical support to team engineers.Prepare detailed reports for clients and the Regional Technical Manager.Suitable candidates must have the following:A full UK driving licence
Minimum of two years experience as a Heat Pump Service EngineerQualifications including:City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in at least one of the following:Heating & VentilationPlumbing & heating
Air conditioning & refrigerationFGAS & ODS Regulations (C&G 2079) CAT 1G3 unvented cylinders certified
Experience with servicing and repairing of gas heating systems would also be an advantage and the qualifications listed below:CCN1, CKR, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1 and CPA1 Preferred but NOT essential
Essential competencies:Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and Electrical Safe Systems of Work. Familiarity with health and safety legislation, risk assessments, and method statements.
Computer literacy and flexibility to support business needs. An enhanced DBS check will be conducted for successful candidates.
