As UK Sales Manager for CV, OE&OES division, you will take full responsibility for leading the divisional sales team to achieve and exceed our revenue and margin quotas.
Their duties include leading the existing divisional sales team, creating and implementing strategic sales plans developed to build and develop enduring customer relationships.
Our foundational approach will be to: -
Drive further increases in our trading group member sales, supplied via our Goliath NDC, focussing on selling our private label and proprietary brands.
Recruit new independent CV factors to the trading group, to cover existing white spots and strengthen our UK & Ireland coverage
Implement our DRIVE framework for existing independent CV factor customers that will support additional sales growth and build further loyalty to the AAG proposition
Identify, prospect and secure new CV, agricultural, heavy plant and specialist OE/OES and aftermarket customers with focus on emerging and growing sectors that diversifies and strengthens our supply and reach across UK & Ireland.
This is a field based role, we will consider applicants from all over the UK.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and motivate sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives. Some duties and responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Leading and motivating teams of Sales Representatives to develop customer relations, increase market share and sales revenue and margin.
- Conducting monthly sales performance reviews across the division and sales team members, to identify risers and fallers, areas for focus, define sales recovery actions, assessment of sales pipeline for conversions and new customer prospecting.
- Designing programmes to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Overseeing sales team recruitment and creating training programmes to train new and existing employees in the sales department.
- Understanding and communicating the organisation’s value propositions and processes through proposals and presentations.
- Monitoring supply and demand, competitor offers and costs to determine and adjust selling prices.
- Forecasting and creating annual sales quotas for regions and territories to determine sales objectives.
- Analysing market trends and results to determine annual unit and gross-profit plans.
