This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team at the forefront of specialist safety solutions across sectors like Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Heavy Manufacturing.

The OpportunityWe’re seeking a commercially-minded and proactive Business Development Manager to take ownership of a northern territory. With a strong focus on new business generation (75%) alongside developing key accounts, you'll be the go-to expert in your sector, trusted, consultative, and strategic.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and nurturing relationships with major clients (£100k-£500k+ annual spend)
  • Driving pipeline growth via outbound and face-to-face business development
  • Managing full-cycle sales from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and handover
  • Leading sector development initiatives and attending key site/client meetings
  • Collaborating closely with admin and telemarketing support to maximise efficiency

Your TerritoryCovering the North of England (Leeds upwards), including key hubs such as Teesside, Hull, Liverpool, and South Scotland. Expect 3 days a week on the road with Mondays and Fridays geared towards planning and admin.

  • Confident engaging with clients at all levels, from site leads to C-suite
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable managing a long, consultative sales cycle
  • Industry background is a bonus, but attitude, drive, and commercial acumen are key
