As the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the company's financial operations, ensuring robust reporting and driving business efficiency through insightful analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee all transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial planning with the company's strategic goals.
- Drive the delivery of variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and optimise cash flow and treasury management to support business continuity and growth.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to evaluate growth opportunities, capital investments, and operational risks.
- Manage and develop a small finance team, providing mentorship and encouraging continuous professional development
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Demonstrated ability to oversee both operational and strategic financial activities
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- High level of integrity with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- £75,000 - £80,000, plus car allowance, bonus, and additional benefits
