Description
- Direct and manage all audit operations within the firm
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance audit procedures
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of professional services industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure all audit activities align with company policies and objectives
- Oversee the preparation of audit reports and financial statements
- Manage relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
A Successful Audit Director Should Have
- A recognised professional qualification in Accounting or a related field
- Proven leadership and management skills
- A thorough understanding of auditing processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- A competitive salary ranging from £70-100k for director and circa £150k for Partner
