Thorn Baker is collaborating with an established Facilities Management company in North West Yorkshire. We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Area Manager to oversee and monitor 16 retail sites across the region.
The ideal candidate is currently in a similar role or ready to advance from a cleaning supervisor position, with relevant experience in a comparable environment.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and current legislation.
- Maintain and meet contract retention targets consistently.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols, conduct quarterly H&S audits, and perform monthly cleaning inspections.
- Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of employees.
- Motivate and develop a competent workforce.
- Control operational costs and overheads to ensure profitability.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives where applicable.
- Plan and oversee operational activities and work schedules.
- Manage client escalations effectively.
- Ensure proper staffing and supervision at all sites.
- Conduct performance reviews for team members.
- Ensure availability of equipment and materials at all sites.
- Conduct audits to maintain quality standards.
