Position: Catering Manager


Locations: Leeds, Scarborough, and Brighouse


Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday - Friday


Salary: £30,600 per annum + benefits including Health Cash Plan


About the Role:


As Catering Manager, you will oversee food and beverage delivery across our extra care services, ensuring teams and café leaseholders perform excellently, maintaining safety, management standards, and budget adherence.


You will manage several cafés, fostering a welcoming environment, planning menus, ensuring food safety, and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.


Typical Responsibilities:



  1. Coordinate stock management and menu planning to meet dietary needs.

  2. Conduct daily kitchen inspections for cleanliness and compliance.

  3. Review budgets, identify savings, and ensure quality food delivery within financial limits.

  4. Manage café contracts efficiently.

  5. Lead daily team check-ins to promote morale and service quality.

Candidate Requirements:



  • Previous experience managing catering operations or kitchen teams.

  • Knowledge of catering budgets, stock control, and supplier management.

  • Experience creating menus for diverse dietary requirements.

  • Own a vehicle insured for business use; mileage costs are reimbursed.

Team and Reporting:


You will report to Gemma, our Operations Manager, and collaborate with service managers to optimize café operations across supported settings.


Additional Details:



  • Flexible or agreed working hours.
