Location: UK-wide (Remote/Hybrid with travel to client sites as needed)

Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in delivering complex, data-centric projects for a diverse client base. The role involves conducting business and data analysis, stakeholder engagement, Agile delivery planning, and mentoring junior analysts. This is a client-facing position requiring excellent communication and leadership skills, underpinned by a strong technical and analytical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and model data requirements using best practice techniques
• Facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Advise on data access, integration, and governance (e.g., APIs, GDPR)
• Translate user needs and technical constraints into actionable insights
• Support Agile planning and backlog management with delivery teams
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers on solution design
• Contribute to and mentor within the internal BA community of practice
• Participate in internal improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing
• Travel to client sites occasionally, as project demands require

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills:

• Experience in business and data analysis, including data modelling
• Understanding of data governance and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, APIs, integration)
• Strong Agile delivery experience, with knowledge of Scrum/Kanban
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in multidisciplinary, client-facing teams
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead initiatives

Desirable Skills:

• Experience supporting Data Architects with business input
• Knowledge of data systems architecture, security, and lifecycle
• Familiarity with user research and service design processes
