Senior Business Analyst – Data Focus
Location: UK-wide (Remote/Hybrid with travel to client sites as needed)
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Permanent
Relocation Support: Up to £8,000 available for qualifying candidates

Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in delivering complex, data-centric projects for a diverse client base. The role involves conducting business and data analysis, stakeholder engagement, Agile delivery planning, and mentoring junior analysts. This is a client-facing position requiring excellent communication and leadership skills, underpinned by a strong technical and analytical foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and model data requirements using best practice techniques
- Facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Advise on data access, integration, and governance (e.g., APIs, GDPR)
- Translate user needs and technical constraints into actionable insights
- Support Agile planning and backlog management with delivery teams
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers on solution design
- Contribute to and mentor within the internal BA community of practice
- Participate in internal improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing
- Travel to client sites occasionally, as project demands require
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills:
- Experience in business and data analysis, including data modelling
- Understanding of data governance and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, APIs, integration)
- Strong Agile delivery experience, with knowledge of Scrum/Kanban
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in multidisciplinary, client-facing teams
- Ability to mentor junior team members and lead initiatives
Desirable Skills:
- Experience supporting Data Architects with business input
- Knowledge of data systems architecture, security, and lifecycle
- Familiarity with user research and service design processes
