Wood Machinist Programmer - #1725312

Headley have a live vacancy on in Leeds, seeking a Wood CNC Machinist for a furniture manufacturing company.

An ability to, and experience in programming CNC wood machinery is essential experience for this position.

This is a new position with a fast growing company, investing in new machinery and they require an experienced operator to join their Production team.

They design, manufacture and install bespoke furniture and joinery items, working for clients across a range of industry sectors. The work on offer is of a high quality and is varied, from one job to the next. We are looking for adaptable and experienced CNC programmer, setter, operators.

Key duties of the role to include:

• Work with colleagues and from technical information to program, set and operate CNC cutting machine
• Selecting tooling and ensuring high quality and accuracy of programs
• Ensuring minimal wastage and efficient use of materials
• Maintenance of cutting lists, CNC programs and relevant technical documentation
• Contribute to the overall efficient operation of the workshop

Experience required

• Experience in programming CNC Routers
• Experience working in a joinery manufacturing environment
• Understanding of materials
• Able to work effectively with colleagues in a team orientated production environment
• Basic machine and workshop maintenance
• Close attention to detail and a pride in work
