The Role
As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a key role within our team, supporting the Group Payroll Manager in the timely delivery of 3 payrolls. Although Payroll experience is not essential, you will have experience in an analytical role or data background. You will be a self-starter and excellent communicator with an eye for detail, working to strict deadlines under our supervision.
What you will do
- Processing end-to end payroll on a weekly, fortnight and monthly basis.
- First point of contact for payroll related queries
- Calculating remaining holidays
- Accurate payroll processing
- Maintain payroll records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
- Analysing and reporting on payroll data
You will have:
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and HR/payroll systems
- Good administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Experience of Sage Payroll (desirable)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Discreet and professional approach to handling confidential information
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
