We are looking for a Traffic Operator to join the team at our busy depot in Leeds. ( LS9 0SG).
As a Traffic Operator, you will provide compliance and control for the Fleet when required Be able to carry out duties for all contracts that operate within the traffic office environment at all times
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary of 30,080.42 plus £800 a late Shift allowance (depending on experience).
The working schedule is predominantly Monday to Friday, working 12:00 to 20:30, but may require occasional shift changes and overtime when necessary.

- Ensure that issues with meeting expectations are escalated internally to the line Manager and to the customer when appropriate.
- Ensuring that professional and effective communication is always maintained
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, both for employees and visitors, including PPE, and escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity
To be considered for the role of Traffic Operator, you will:
- Have an enthusiastic attitude and real desire to learn
- Have a good standard of general education to include numeracy and literacy
- Have a good understanding of warehouse and transport procedures including
- Preferably have experience of Telematic systems
- Have the ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Be flexible to the needs of the business and be able to work on a different shift pattern if necessary
- Possess excellent communication and Customer Service skills
- Have good organisation skills and ability to prioritise
- Have a good understanding of IT - Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Be a team player who is able to use initiative and share ideas to improve efficiency
