Finance Manager
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday normal office hours (flexi between 8-5)
Training: Fully qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA Site: Office-based at Leeds, LS11 5BD with flex for 1-day WFH
Salary:£50,000 to £62,000 (DOE)
Here at Conduent we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Finance Manager at our office based in Leeds. This role will focus on working with the on-site financial team to reconcile all financial transactions.
Additionally, the role may provide occasional support to the Corporate Finance team by assisting with corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Client Reporting / Reconciliation.
- Review and approve daily reconciliations across all transactional data.
- Review and approve all daily reconciliation reports.
- Review and approve reconciliation of transactions between Operating and Financial systems.
- Work in accordance with specified tools and processes to ensure an integrated service.
- Oversee completion of tasks within reporting deadlines.
- Ensure Service Requests are actioned and closed within KPI framework.
- Ensure the finance team work with client to locate missing payments.
- Builds partnership and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Ensures the delivery of daily and monthly Reporting Schedules to Client to meet KPI and maintain all supporting inhouse documentation.
- Assists with the compilation of data to support project financial analysis and reporting.
- Delivers accurate and timely month-end Reporting and Close to the client, to include SFP and SPL
- Ensure processes, procedures, controls, and records for all aspects of financial transactions are maintained and updated.
- Working in accordance with Best Practice and always adhering to Standard Operating Procedures
- Work with the client to review and resolve open issues; include reporting, working with the development team, resolving and sending a closure package
- Responsible for financial reporting within the client's transaction processing system
Management Functions
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the on-site financial operations team
- Supervise Individual Contributor of 3 to ensure financial monthly deliverables are met based on Service Level Agreement
- Facilitate development, coach, mentor, interview and resolve conflict
- Conduct performance evaluations
Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a valid qualification from one of the following; ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong leadership skills to lead and mentor an accounting operations team
- Proven experience supporting Senior business partners, build and maintain strong relationships and with the ability to guide and influence when necessary
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data issues/needs quickl
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate information across teams; comfortable presenting to executives
- Experience with financial systems is essential
- An understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP is also advantageous
- Relevant Accounting experience
