Brand Marketing Coordinator - General Merchandise & Home - #1730131

• Responsible for working with the buying teams to ensure all marketing product nominations are selected and align to the brand narrative and commercial strategy.


• Coordinate the input for George monthly priorities for relevant Asda marketing channels e.g., Magazine & Radio


• Has a good understanding of brand & trading processes and supports the wider brand marketing team in their understanding where required.


• Assist with the brand marketing brief creation following direction of the team – delivering key trading, trend & product information.


• Develop strong working relationships with the brand marketing team, the wider brand team & the trading teams – proactively supporting the brand strategy delivery.


• Co-ordinate reviews of the market for product proposition through competitive shopping – feeding knowledge into relevant stages of the BM process e.g. block plan, brief ideation & PCAs.


• Support the Brand Marketing Manager and Brand Executives to deliver the brand marketing & product proposition strategy.


• Responsible for planning, engaging, booking, setting up and leading seasonal product selection meetings for all stakeholders – driving clear requirements and agendas across all product areas.


• Actively set timelines for campaign decks & pack creation, build and complete plans in line with critical path across all trading divisions to support the delivery of the brand marketing brief.


• Work with the sample assistant to ensure all product is clearly identified and ordered for campaign shoots and events.


• Responsible for sign off of all marketing nominations with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and Brand Marketing Manager.


• Collate product list for all campaign launches and work with supply & merchandising to manage stock during campaign activity.

• Brand Marketing background and retail industry experience


• Can demonstrate experience of working across a homeware business and awareness of product processes


• Ability to prioritise and flex to the changing needs of the business


• Shows understanding of the customer and represents their needs first


• Is a team player


• Good organisation / project management skills


• Good decision-making skills


• Good communication and networking skills


• Has commercial awareness, and the understanding of factors that impact role
