What you will be doing:

  • Based in Leeds, developing scalable systems using AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, and related technologies.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, reliable deployments.
  • Integrating with observability platforms with tools such as Splunk and New Relic to ensure system health and performance visibility.
  • Defining standards, patterns and ways of working policies that will be followed by numerous teams.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Promoting best practices in automated testing and professional documentation to uphold high-quality standards.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are committed to responsible gambling and building a resilient, scalable, and secure platform. We are looking for people who share our ethos and can drive our infrastructure forward. To apply for this role, you will have:

  • Knowledge in Kubernetes (and based in Leeds), preferably automatic provisioning & configuring EKS clusters and addons for a fleet of clusters distributed across multiple accounts
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud: ideally automatic provisioning and configuring networking, computing, storage, security components, especially EKS (including karpenter and managed addons), ECR, NLB, S3, CloudFront, EBS, IAM, SG, DBs like RDS and DocumentDB
  • Infrastructure as Code: skills in tools like Terraform(Terragrunt), Crossplane, and other tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Flunet in CI/CD: Familiarity with creating and maintaining pipelines using tools like Gitlab CI, experience with ArgoCD and other Argo Products with operational readiness: Experience being on call and familiarity with Incident Management process.
