The Job

We are seeking an experienced User Experience Designer to partner with our newly established, Mobile Development Pod.

You'll be empowered to lead the design and development of the UI and UX components and frameworks for Simpro's various Mobile Apps.

What You’ll Do

• Design user interfaces and user experiences for web and/or mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with the software development team(s) throughout the design, build, testing, and implementation phases to ensure high-quality UI/UX solutions.
• Transform concepts and wireframes into polished, production-ready designs, and implement them in code.
• Utilise design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, and similar tools to create effective UI/UX solutions.
• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
• Work with PHP when needed to support the development process
• Build UI/UX solutions for both web and mobile platforms.
  
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Prior experience in designing user interfaces and user experience for web and/or mobile applications
• Prior experience working with software engineering and/or development teams
• Experience with design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch etc
• Expertise coding in HTML, CSS/SASS and JavaScript (PHP is a plus)
• Good levels of communication - both written and verbal
• Enthusiasm and an interest in all things technology
