Senior .NET Developer
Location: Leeds or other UK-wide locations (flexible/remote working with relocation support available)
Salary: £57,000 – £64,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Overview
Our client is seeking experienced Senior .NET Developers to join a growing team delivering user-centred digital solutions across diverse sectors. This role involves leading technical delivery within Agile teams, acting as a consultant to both internal teams and external stakeholders, and contributing to software engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, delivering scalable and user-focused software solutions
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to design and implement robust digital systems
- Drive deployment pipeline design and maintenance, proactively resolving technical bottlenecks
- Clearly present technical concepts and project updates to varied audiences
- Foster effective relationships with stakeholders and team members
- Mentor peers and participate in recruitment initiatives
- Advocate the client's engineering practices through blogs, events, and community engagements
Candidate Profile
- Strong verbal and written communication, adaptable for technical and non-technical audiences
- Comprehensive experience across the software development lifecycle
- Full-stack .NET developer, proficient in .NET 6/.NET Core, C#, F#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Node)
- Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes and microservices architecture
- Skilled in designing RESTful APIs
- Proficient with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, TDD)
- Experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Prior experience on public sector (GOV/NHS) projects is desirable
Work Environment
While based in Leeds, candidates across the UK are encouraged to apply. Flexible work arrangements and a relocation support package up to £8,000 are available. Occasional client-site presence may be required.
