The Leeds office is home to a growing team of 8, including apprentices, graduates, and senior engineers, a diverse and supportive environment that fosters learning and leadership. The Role: Project Civil Engineer You'll be a vital part of the drainage and infrastructure civils team, managing design, delivery, and mentoring. The role includes:
  • Creating schematic, concept, and detailed drainage/highways designs using Civils 3D
  • Delivering drainage and SUDS designs using Causeway Flow
  • Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
  • Leading collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
  • Mentoring and managing junior engineers
  • Acting as Project Leader, including oversight of project finances
What We're Looking For
  • Proficient in Civils 3D (or equivalent), with strong drainage design experience
  • Track record of mentoring and line management
  • Knowledge of Sustainable Drainage Systems (concept and detailed design)
  • Site experience including contractor liaison and health & safety management
  • Experience in multiple sectors (e.g., NHS, DfE, private sector)
  • Comfortable engaging with local authorities and problem-solving within project teams
  • Strong quality assurance and project delivery skills
