We’re looking to hire an Aircraft Performance Engineer to join our Flight Operations Technical Team.
Reporting to the Aircraft Performance Manager, the Aircraft Performance Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise on all aspects of aircraft performance to the Jet2.com operation, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. This role delivers a vital contribution to the continued safe and efficient operation of the Jet2.com fleet.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop aircraft performance data, policies, and procedures for Airbus and Boeing fleets, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency Support flight crew by developing tools for take-off and landing performance assessments, while maintaining aeronautical databases.
- Conduct aerodrome and route analysis, validate engine inoperative procedures, and audit supplier-provided aircraft performance data
- Provide technical expertise on aircraft performance, collaborating with stakeholders to refine policies, procedures, and internal engineering tools
As an Aircraft Performance Engineer you will hold a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related subjects, with experience in a technical aviation-related role. You will also have;
- Aircraft Performance Expertise – Strong knowledge of aircraft performance, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures, ideally with experience in an operator, manufacturer, or supplier role.
- Technical & IT Proficiency – Familiarity with Airbus/Boeing aircraft performance software, programming techniques (MATLAB, Excel macros), and completion of relevant engineering courses.
- Analytical & Organisational Skills – Ability to plan, manage workload efficiently, and assess performance data with a results-driven and proactive approach.
- Communication & Integrity – Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to high ethical standards and teamwork.
