The Supplier Operations team manages funding sources for LCCC, engaging with relevant government departments in the design and funding mechanisms for new schemes, and with Electricity Suppliers and Gas Shippers in the UK energy market to ensure the smooth running of settlement activity in the levies we administer.

The Supplier Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Operations team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to gain deep insight into the government-backed schemes managed by LCCC.

The Analyst will support the delivery and development of both existing and emerging programmes, working collaboratively across teams and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. The role also involves improving operational processes and reviewing both internal and public-facing documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy.

The successful candidate will support a variety of schemes, including:

  • Contracts for Difference (CfD) - including levy reforms for the Clean Industry Bonus (CIB) and the Dispatchable Power Agreement (DPA), as well as potential developments under the Low Carbon Dispatchable (LCD) scheme and the Reform of the Electricity Market Arrangements (REMA)
  • Capacity Market (CM)
  • Nuclear Regulated Asset Base (RAB)
  • Revenue Support Agreement (RSA)
  • Other emerging programmes and policy initiatives

The Analyst will also work closely with EMRS to support system change implementation, develop process documentation, and manage key operational activities related to supplier engagement and system performance.

  • Analyse and review operational processes for CfD and CM schemes to identify and implement improvements
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives, and risk management of CfD and CM programme activities
  • Assist in the development of operational processes for RAB, RSA, and other emerging programmes
  • Track and report on supplier debt, and manage escalations for non-payments
  • Collaborate with EMRS to support system change implementation and maintain accurate process documentation
  • Engage with stakeholders including electricity suppliers, the Department for Energy and Net Zero (DESNZ), the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), Transport and Storage Companies (T&SCo), and Ofgem to support programme delivery and operational alignment
  • Review and refine public-facing guidelines and internal documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Create, maintain and present internal and external knowledge management materials
  • Represent the Supplier Operations team in meetings, providing updates and insights on operational matters
