Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: up to £50k + uncapped monthly commission (OTE £85,000)

Location: remote in the North East or North West, once a month in the office in Manchester.

Vargo is hiring for a dynamic hard asset funder that offers hire purchase and leasing services to SMEs across the UK through a network of asset finance brokers. This role will address the rising demand for asset finance from SMEs, and brokers in the north region. The ideal candidate is currently operating in the broker channel with existing broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• To generate leads through your introducer network
• To structure and agree on initial facility terms
• To submit facility proposals to underwriters
• To attend client meetings for document signing
• Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process
• To present a professional first-line impression to external stakeholders
• Capability to operate effectively from day one without constraints or support
  
  

Requirements

• Several years of experience within the asset finance sector
• Established broker relationships and a solid understanding of industrial equipment and vehicles
• Target-driven with strong planning skills and the ability to manage high activity levels and engagement strategies
