Senior Reward Manager

The UK&I People function provides strong business partnering, and subject matter expertise to the UK&I Region. The function supports the organisation to develop and grow through the delivery of the people strategy.

As a key member of this team, the Senior Reward Manager will input into the development of Divisional reward strategy and lead on its operationalisation by establishing a deep understanding of the divisional business and people challenges and provide guidance on how these can be supported through the application of reward policies and processes. Specifically, they will partner with the UK&I People Partners, and the wider people team and business stakeholders, as a trusted Reward Partner to develop, deliver and manage relevant reward solutions and practices in line with Divisional culture and EVP.

The Senior Reward Manager will also manage the delivery of Divisional remuneration review processes, as well as provide guidance around employee reward management, levelling, benchmarking and pay budgeting and analysis and ensure these activities are completed in line with reward policy.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the UK&I People team and key business stakeholders. Meet regularly with stakeholders to ensure a good understanding of reward objectives and issues and provides advice on policy application as required. In conjunction with the Head of Reward, lead the review/formulation of reward initiatives to meet specific business objectives, ensuring these are aligned to reward strategy and policy as appropriate.
  • Educate People Partners and the wider business on reward strategy, policy and process, ensuring governance processes and frameworks are understood and respected. Effectively communicate reward schedule and planning activities. Keep stakeholders informed and engaged with broader reward tribe activity e.g new Divisional and\or Global reward initiatives and programs.
  • Manages delivery of divisional wide remuneration review processes e.g annual pay review and bonus. Supports People Partners and managers in making reward management decisions, including provision of ad-hoc pay analysis, modelling and total reward\offer comparisons.
  • Inline with Flutter JA policy and process, manages delivery of levelling and benchmarking across UK&I, works with the Head of Reward, Global Reward and Talent teams to agree role levels and reward management outcomes for senior leadership and above (M4\IC7\GG15+). Ensures level assessment, job profile and pay alignment consistency for all other roles.
  • Manages delivery of UK&I pay data and analysis including modelling bonus outturn and compensation gaps to market.
  • Deputises for the Head of Reward as required. Leads delivery of ad-hoc and project requests, including contribution to cross-divisional reward initiatives and integration projects, as necessary.

How You’ll Do It

  • Highly experienced reward business partner with proven ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Demonstratable experience of success in educating, coaching and/or challenging stakeholders to ensure alignment with reward policy and process.
  • Prior experience of leading the design and delivery of annual remuneration review processes
  • Prior Workday implementation and user experience and\or understanding of Workday (or equivalent) compensation configuration and processing capabilities.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge with proven analytical skills and good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate analysis and insight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work at pace, prioritise workload and work fluidly in a fast-moving environment. Attention to detail and accuracy.
